So, what does all of this have to do with Wycliffe and the Insider Movement Son of God crisis? Wycliffe/SIL has asked the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) to host a global panel to review Wycliffe's Muslim-idiom translation (MIT) practices, so it is concerning to see that the following people have signed this document that compromises our faith in Jesus:
- Geoff Tunnicliffe, the International Director of World Evangelical Alliance
- Bertil Ekstrom, the Executive Director of World Evangelical Alliance
- Robert Cooley, President Emeritus of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, who has been chosen by WEA to be the chairman of the global panel.
