Your "John Piper and Bethlehem Baptist Church" quote on the front page is, as far as I can see, misleading. I can see nowhere on DesiringGod.org or Bethlehem Baptist's site where John Piper himself makes any comment. That is a fair observation. I have changed the text to reflect the statement's origination as coming from Bethlehem Church, where Mr. Piper pastors, and not as coming from him directly.
